Asset Types

You can create and manage the following asset types in Vizcom

• Color

• Image

Color

You can add and manage colors in Vizcom. However, we currently do not support uploading a csv file with HEX codes.

Entry points: Left sidebar, toolbar, or reference panel

How to add: The example below is how to add a color through the asset library panel however the same steps apply when doing it through the color tool or reference panel

1. Click on the "+" button on the right

2. Select a color

3. (optional) Name the asset

4. Save

How to edit: Assets can only be edited from the asset library panel

1. Click on the asset

2. Then click on the three-dot menu

3. Click edit

4. You can edit the color and the name

5. Save

How to delete: Assets can only be deleted from the asset library panel

1. Click on the asset

2. Then click on the three-dot menu

3. Click delete

Material

Materials are currently simply images in Vizcom. You cannot upload a 3D model of a material of texture.

How to add: The example below is how to add a color through the asset library panel however the same steps apply when doing it through the reference panel

1. Click on the "+" button on the right

2. Upload or paste image

3. (optional) Name the asset

4. Save

How to edit: Assets can only be edited from the asset library panel

1. Click on the asset

2. Then click on the three-dot menu

3. Click edit

4. You can edit the color and the name

How to delete: Assets can only be deleted from the asset library panel

1. Click on the asset

2. Then click on the three-dot menu

3. Click delete
